A great-granddaughter of painter Claude Monet, Jane Monet spent her childhood romping in a glowing pastel garden. After training in top Parisian art schools, Ms. Monet blended her impressionistic background with a touch of surrealism. When she moved to Sonoma County, Ms. Monet branched out to express her own distinctive vision. She works primarily in oils and acrylics.
